Look, this is first and foremost a personal site, run by one guy trying is damnest to do his part to keep the lights on thru the indie web.
This linkroll is yet another attempt at reviving the good old days when we compiled lists of each others platforms, shared them, and passed them around like interlinked “webs” of internet goodness.
If you are added to the roll (or even if you just want to support it) please add a link back to the main list on your site (or somewhere people will find it: https://8clicks.8r4d.com/blogroll/
I moderate everything that comes through. If I don’t think you’re a good fit for the link roll because you’re too spammy, too cluttered up with ads, too obviously AI slop, or too something that doesn’t fit the real basic vibe of real people writing real stuff, then simply: you might not make that cut.
Also, I add stuff that I like. Right now nine out of ten visits to this site are me using it as a quasi-feed reader and bookmark list. See the note above about why you might not make it onto such a list.
Aaaaaaall that said, I do want to put as much cool stuff up here as I can. I launched this in October 2026, so it’s kinda fresh and kinda thin, but… growing. Bookmark it, come back, use it, add to it, enjoy, and share.
